Nancy June Myers, born 8/2/1947, went to be with her Lord and Savior May 11, 2025. Though Nancy never had children of her own, it was very apropos that she passed on Mother’s Day as she unofficially adopted and mothered so many of us all.
She was preceded in death by her mother June Myers, father Ken Myers, older brother Wayne Myers and most recently she experienced the devastating loss of her younger brother Kenny Myers. She is survived by her nephew Chris Myers (spouse Tina), her niece Lisa Myers, great nephew Kyle (spouse Sheridan), great-great niece Aurora, great niece Amanda Myers Davis (spouse Dana), great-great nephews Noah and Willie, and great nephew Johnny Myers.
Nancy worked as a bookkeeper for many years with different organizations. She ended her career after working for Automotive Warranty Network (AWN) in Greenwood Village, Colorado. After retirement, she spent over two years living near Puerto Vallarta Mexico to be closer to a family she had grown to love as her own after over two decades of yearly visits to that area. She was so grateful to have recently spent five weeks visiting them again after having returned to Colorado 7 years ago. She was so affectionately called “Mamacita” by Cleo, Vicki, Dayana, Tony, Anthony and Seandy who are grieving her loss with us.
After returning to Colorado in 2019, she planned to stay with her friends Bobby and Donna Wagner for a couple of months until she planned what she would do next. Nancy became a part of their family and called this her home for the rest of her life. Nancy’s spice for life will be missed by all those that knew her. She was generous to old and new friends. We could all compare the same story of her showing up for us in different ways. She was most content with a book in her hand and friends to visit with over dinner. A Denver Native, she “mostly” loved the Broncos and could be heard down the street yelling encouragement or instruction for them when watching their games. Never shy about her opinion, she would give you an ear full or the shirt off her back depending on which one she thought you needed. Nancy never doubted her Christian faith and held the firm belief God oversaw her life. We are sure she is in Heaven today letting Kenny have it because she was supposed to be there before him.
