Verla M. Keasling, 87, passed away February 1, 2015. She was born June 8, 1927 in Elkhorn, Nebraska to Chester and Carrie Frye. She was married to James Keasling on December 20, 1946. She is preceded in death by her husband, James; parents, Chester and Carrie Frye; siblings, Irma Frost, Chester Frye, Jr., Dean Frye, Eugene Frye, and Leslie "Bit" Frye. She is survived by her children, Jodean "Jodie" (John) King, Marsha R. (Tom) Anderson, Monica K. (Paul) Rider, and Jacki M. Hahn; seven grandchildren, James, Becky, Stacey, Scott, Kyle, Tom, and Andrew; eight great-grandchildren, Josh, Katie, Haley, Garrett, Dylon, Clayton, Wyatt, MacKenna, and Breck; brother, William Frye. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, March 28 at 10:00 a.m. at Advantage Runyan-Stevenson Chapel, 6425 W. Alameda Ave. in Lakewood.
