Allen James Mantz Sr.

Allen was Predeceased by his wife of 36 years: Laurine (ReRe) Mantz

Allen is survived by his dear children; Allen Jr and his wife Dolorous, Lynn Petty her husband Marc, Judith Accardi and her husband John. His grandchildren; Jessica, AJ, Hunter, Courtney, Cassie, Alex, Brynne & Michael. His great grandchildren; Tony, Norah, Avery, Hazel, Kameron and Graham and his brother; Bob & his wife Sharon Mantz as well as many nieces and nephews.

Allen was an avid sports fan, he was always playing tennis or bowling but his favorite sport was Basketball. He traveled across the country to compete in the Senior Olympics, won numerous competitions at the Lake Ridge Community and most notably being named with his brother Bob the "NJ Shooting Champs" after winning the Don Nelson Classic back to back in 1998 and 1999. He loved to watch basketball as much as play and was a Duke fan.

A visitation will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023 from 3:00pm -7:00pm at D'Elia Funeral Home; 1300 Vermont Ave, NJ 08701. A Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, November 21
