

Born in Hoboken, NJ; Tony was raised in New York City. He lived in Rutherford, NJ for 36 years before moving to Toms River, NJ 16 years ago. He served in the Marine Corps during the Korean War, and worked in sales for the School Supply & Equipment Industry before retiring in 1996.
Tony was very active in the Lake Ridge Community and was the Founding Member of the Key Board Club, frequently playing at community club events. He also designed and led the construction team in building the sets for the annual Lake Ridge stage production.
He is survived by his loving Wife Lee of 62 years, his two daughters Karen Fornaro and her husband Bob of Orlando, FL; Doreen Simonian and her husband John of Middletown, NJ; his 5 grandchildren Jessica, Matthew, Andrea, Joseph, and Isabelle.
Visitation will be held Tuesday March 20th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at D’Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Ave; Lakewood, NJ 08701. A Funeral service will be held Wednesday March 21st at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Brig. General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
