

Donald R. Lehnert, age 82, of the Fairways section of Lakewood, passed away Monday at Kimball Medical Center in Lakewood, NJ. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Mr. Lehnert was a 25 year resident of Middletown, NJ before moving to Lakewood 11 ½ years ago. Donald was a retired Lithographer who was a member of A.L.A. Local No. 1 in New York, NY for 44 years. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, and golf. Donald is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Arlene “Mickey” (Nelson) Lehnert; three children, Arlene Babyak and her husband John of Williston Park, NY, Patty Hollenbeck and her husband Robert of Colts Neck, NJ, and Donald Lehnert and his wife Linda of Middletown, NJ; a sister, Patricia Liebau and her husband Richard; 3 brothers, Bruce and his wife Joan, Robert and his wife Kathy, and Eugene and his wife Linda; nine grandchildren, Arlene, Karen, Donald, Diana, John, Douglas, Christopher, Eric, and Nina; three great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Jeremy, and Nathaniel; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Phyllis Fenn. Visitation will be Wednesday from2 to 4 & 7 to 9p.m. at the D’Elia Funeral Home, Rte. 70 & Vermont Ave., Lakewood, NJ 08701. His funeral mass will be 9:15 a.m. Thursday in St. Luke’s Church, 1674 Old Freehold Rd., Toms River, NJ. Entombment will follow in the Holmdel Cemetery, 900 Holmdel Road, Holmdel, NJ 07733.
