Donna Marie Paduano

Donna Marie Paduano, 52, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013 at her home in Toms River. Mrs. Paduano was born in Elizabeth moving to Colonia and Cranford for many years before settling in Toms River. She attended Elmira College graduating in 1982 and earned her master’s in Speech Language Pathology from Kean University. Donna worked for over 30 years as a speech therapist working mostly with children and for the past 15 years owning and operating the Pediatric Rehabilitation Inc in Brick. She loved traveling, cooking, flowers, gardening, children and was known for her generosity. Mrs. Paduano has fought a brave battle with cancer for over the last 35 years. sHe was a loving wife, mother, sister and aunt and will be greatly missed by all. Mrs. Paduano is predeceased by her parents David and Marie, uncles, John Delrusso, Robert Delrusso, and Donald Swanson and aunt, Phyllis Delrusso. Donna is survived by her husband of 24 years Michael, two daughters, Angela Marie and Maria Cecilia, brothers, David Swanson and his wife Lisa and Paul Swanson and his wife Holly, nieces, Emma, Clara, Olivia, and Jamie, nephew in law, Steve Reichenbach, and sister in law Barbara Hudson and her husband Fenton. Friends may call Monday, March 25, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the D’Elia Funeral Home Rt. 70 & Vermont Ave. Lakewood, NJ 08701. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at 11AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Cranford. Cremation will be private.
