Florence Mary Brennan

Florence was born on June 16, 1932 in Jersey City, NJ. After being raised in Jersey City, Florence was a longtime resident of Bayonne, NJ, before retiring to Lakewood. Florence retired from her employment with the City of Bayonne, having served as a clerk in the purchasing department. While in Bayonne she was very active in the Democratic Club as well as the Marion Group at St.Vincent's Roman Catholic Church. After moving to Lakewood she was a long time volunteer at Kimble Hospital. In her leisure time Florence loved to travel and frequently took cruises with her husband.

Daughter of the late Mary (Kierney) and Joseph Kilinski, she is survived by her beloved husband Robert J. Brennan; her daughter, Mary Brennan Crabe; a son, Robert Brennan, Jr.; two grandchildren, Matthew Crabe and Alexandra Crabe; and a great-granddaughter, Hannah Campos.

Her funeral mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 30, 2017 in the St. Mary of the Lake Church, 43 Madison Ave., Lakewood, NJ 08701. Entombment will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum located at 340 Ridge Road North Arlington, NJ 07031. There are no scheduled visiting hours.
