Florence Cubeiro

Florence Cubeiro, age 75, of the Lakewood, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at the Leisure Park Health Center in Lakewood, NJ.She was born in New York, NY on February 8, 1939, and she was the daughter of the late Maria and Harry Lombardo. Florence was a longtime resident of Staten Island, NY before moving to Lakewood in 2001. She was active in the Fairways Community where she participated in the Amici, Garden, Claddagh, and Women’s Club. Florence’s greatest joy was spending time with her family. She was an extraordinary mother and a proud and loving grandmother. She will be missed dearly by her husband of 56 years, Michael. She is survived by her beloved husband, Michael M. Cubeiro; 2 children, Germaine Tartacoff and her husband Randy, and Michael A. Cubeiro; a brother, Anthony Lombardo and his wife Gertrude; and 4 grandchildren, Ali Tartacoff, J.T. Tartacoff, Ryan Cubeiro and Brandon Cubeiro. Visitation will be Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the D’Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Ave., Lakewood, NJ 08701. Her funeral service will be 9:30 a.m. Friday in the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
