Hans Peter Frauenpreis

He was born on July 5, 1934, and was the son of the late Carl and Margo Frauenpreis.  After being raised in Maywood, NJ,  Pete was a resident of Rochelle Park, NJ for many years before moving to Lakewood, NJ in 2000.  He was a retired Sheriff’s Officer for the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department, having served over 28 years.   Pete enjoyed woodcarving, fishing, and playing golf.  He was a member of the PBA Local 134.

He is survived by his beloved wife 43 years,  Mary Ann (Plechinger) Frauenpreis;  a stepson, Michael A. Sabia, Jr.; 2 nephews, Gunther Frauenpreis and his wife Dawn,  and Kurt Frauenpreis; and a niece Kim Frauenpreis.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. on Friday at the D’Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Ave., Lakewood, NJ 08701.  Cremation will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to GBS/CIDP Foundation International, The Holly Building – 104 1/2 Forrest Avenue – Narberth, PA 19072.
