Hugo was born on July 2, 1952 to the late Irwin & Grace Valdez.
He is survived by his beloved wife; Maritza Muñoz, his children; Hugo Muñoz, Jr and his wife Evangelina Muñoz, of West Milford NJ, Cristina Muñoz Lentini and her husband Darren Lentini as well as Michael Muñoz and his wife Ruth Muñoz-Flores of Morristown, NJ. His cherished grandchildren; Bryan Muñoz, Quiana Lentini, Briza Lentini, Salma Lentini, Halle Lentini and Alexander Lentini, Daniel Flores, Jacob Flores, Nathaniel Flores. He also leaves behind his siblings; Beatrice Muñoz an Luisa Muñoz.
He was predecased in death by his parents & his sister; Virginia Muñoz.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026 at 11:00 am at St Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 138 Beech St, Paterson, NJ 07501.
