Jane Gross Corson

Jane Masson Gross Corson, 82, beloved wife of William B. Corson, Lakewood, died peacefully in her sleep at Monmouth Specialty Hospital, Long Branch, on June 10, 2011. Jane attended elementary schools in Haddon Township, NJ, Collingswood High School, NJ, received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Swarthmore College and a MAT from Montclair State University, NJ. She excelled as a technical writer, housewife, mother, middle-school librarian, cost estimator for an engineering firm and as municipal library cataloger.She is survived by her husband of almost 61 years, son Donald and his wife Gabriele of Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland, daughter JoAnne Hansen and her husband Charles of Las Vegas, NV, three grandsons, Michael Kakuk and his wife Andrea of Langhorne, PA, Nils Corson MD of Biel, Switzerland, and Eric Corson of NYC, and five step-grand children and their children . Friends may call Sunday, June 12, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the D’Elia Funeral Home Rt. 70 & Vermont Ave. Lakewood, NJ 08701. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, June 12, 2011 at 7:15PM at the funeral home. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Jane’s memory to your favorite charity.
