Jane T. (McAllister) DeSessa

Jane Theresa (McAllister) DeSessa joined her redeemer in heaven on February 17, 2010. Born on September 1, 1928 in the Bronx, NY to the late Rose and James Fitzpatrick. She lived in Lakewood since 1958. Jane retired from the Township of Lakewood and was a communicate of St. Mary of the Lake Church. She was a past president of the Woman’s Club of Brick Township. Her life was filled with many interests, including, traveling. She was brought the most joy from being around her family. Her husband Daniel DeSessa predeceased her in March 2009.

She is survived by her loving children James McAllister and his wife Susan of Freehold and Kevin McAllister and his wife Betsy of Lakewood. She was the proud grandmother of Heather, Michele, Michael and Theresa McAllister, all of Freehold and John Phillip, Connor and Ryan McAllister, all of Lakewood.

A visitation will be held at the D’Elia Funeral Home Rte. 70 & Vermont Ave. on Friday 2-4 and 7-9PM. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday 10:30AM at St. Mary of the Lake Church, Lakewood, NJ. Interment to follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold. NJ. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Freehold First Aid, 18 Spring St., Freehold, NJ 07728 or the Holy Family Boy Scout Troop 51, c/o St. Mary of the Lake Church 43 Madison Ave., Lakewood, NJ 08701.
