John Pfeffer Jr.

Jack Pfeffer, 85, passed away January 9, 2011 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. He was born in New York City and lived in Toms River for the past 27 years. Mr. Pfeffer was a manager for Alpine Country Club for many years and recently worked in the golf operation in the Lakewood country club. Jack was a member of the Toms River VFW Post 6063 and an usher for the St. Mary of the Lake Church for many years. He served in the Navy during World War II. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all.

Pre-Deceased: Mr. Pfeffer is predeceased by his wife Eileen in 2007.

Survivors: Jack is survived by son Jay Pfeffer, his sister, Mary, and 3 grandchildren.

Services: Friends may call Tuesday, January 11, 2011 from 4-6pm at the D’Elia Funeral Home Rt. 70 & Vermont Ave. Lakewood, NJ 08701. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at the St. Mary of the Lake Church in Lakewood. Interment will take place at Brigadier General William C.
