Joseph Colosi Sr.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Mr. Colosi lived in Staten Island for 45 years. He has resided in Highland Beach FL, for the last 15 years and has spent his summers in Lakewood, NJ for the last 6 years.

He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War.

Predeceased by his brother Nicholas and his sister Frances. He is survived by his loving wife Marie of 56 years, 3 sons Joseph and his wife Deborah of Monroe Twp, NJ; John of Lakewood, NJ; James and his wife Michele of Manasquan, NJ; his two brothers Frank of FL; and Victor of Queens, NY; a sister Katie Reises of Phoenix, AZ; 4 grandchildren Joseph, Michael, James, and Samantha.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 19th from 2 to 9 pm at the D’Elia Funeral Home, Rt. 70 & Vermont Ave; Lakewood, NJ 08701. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday April 20th 10:30 am at St. Mary of the Lake Church 43 Madison Ave; Lakewood, NJ; 08701. Entombment will follow, Woodbridge Memorial Gardens in Woodbridge, NJ.
