Julia M. Weising

Julia M. Weising, 92, passed away August 4, 2016 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick. Mrs. Weising was born and raised in Jeannette, PA before moving to Brooklyn, NY and Englishtown, NJ and finally settling in Meridian Nursing in Brick for the past 6 years. She worked for Alcatel-Lucent in Marlboro, NJ for many years as an assembly line worker. Julia was an avid bingo player and loved Polish music. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be greatly missed by all.

Mrs. Weising is predeceased by her husband Herman and grandson-in-law Richard Izzo.

Julia is survived by her sons, Robert “Bob” Weising and his wife Francine and William “Bill” Weising and his wife Marian, grandchildren, Kellie Weising, Eric Weising and his wife Natalie, Monica Izzo and Justin Weising and his wife Judy, and seven great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 8, 2016 from 12:00-1:30pm at the D’Elia Funeral Home 1300 Vermont Ave. Lakewood, NJ 08701. Catholic Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 8, 2016 at 1:30pm at the funeral home. Interment will take place at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Freehold, NJ.
