Lawrence Anthony Torro

Larry was born in Brooklyn, NY on January 17, 1938, and he was the son of Nicoletta and Richard Torro. After being raised in Brooklyn, he was a resident of Oak Ridge, NJ for 28 years, before moving to Lakewood in 1999. Larry was a Draftsman and Designer of Chemical Manufacturing Plants for Cytec Industries, Inc. in Wayne, NJ for over 20 years. Larry was a member of the Fairways Mens Club and the Amici Club. He is fondly remembered for loving to watch the Animal Planet Channel and his love of animals.

Larry is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years Annette; a loving daughter, Lauren-Michele Greco; two cherished grandchildren, Paul and Michelle Greco; a sister, Rose Marrazzo; a sister-in-law; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 to 6 p.m. at the D'Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Avenue, Lakewood, NJ 08701.

His funeral mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m.Thursday in the St. Mary of the Lake Church, 43 Madison Avenue, Lakewood, NJ 08701. Committal services will follow in parish cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
