LLinda Joan Jakubek, age 67 of Manchester, NJ passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2022, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Linda was born on October 3, 1954, in Paterson, NJ as the daughter of the late Elizabeth and Frank Scalera.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 35 years, Donald Jakubek, two sons, James Komsa and his wife Trish, Christopher Komsa and his wife Melissa, and daughter, Jennifer Jakubek Santomenna and her husband Marco. She is survived by her sister, Barbara Scalera and predeceased by her brother Frank Scalera. Linda is also survived by six grandchildren, James, Emily, Rowan, Nolan, Roman, and Maya.
Linda loved being outdoors, gardening, working on her koi ponds, and going to the beach. She loved working at Emilio’s Restaurant and sharing her kindness and smile with everyone she met. She was a proud mother and grandmother who loved with all her heart and made everyone feel welcomed.
