She is predeceased by husband, Harry E. Murphy, and leaves behind 4 children: Thomas, Gregory, and Philip Murphy and Cathy Sabine, raised in Garden City, NY and Ridgewood, NJ. Louise was the beloved grandmother of eight and great-grandmother of three.
She was employed by and volunteered at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ for over 25 years and was also an accomplished bridge player.
A resident of Mahwah, NJ for over 20 years and long time member of High Mountain Golf Club in Franklin Lakes, NJ, she was an avid golfer.
A viewing will be held at D’Elia Funeral Home, Rte. 70 & Vermont Ave., Lakewood, NJ from 4-8PM Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013.
Funeral services will be held at S. Mary of the Lake Church in Lakewood, NJ at 10:30AM on Friday, Aug. 2, 2013.
