

Born in Camuy, Puerto Rico, she travelled to New Jersey in 1980 and resided in a number of places before settling in Philadelphia 11 years ago.
Prior to retiring, she worked as a Nurses Aid and as a Dietary Aid, most recently for Lexington Rest Home in Lakewood.
Surviving is her husband, Jose Ortiz; 7 children: Letty Colon-Jumbo, William Colon, Jr., Marilyn Corrales-Mercado, George Morales, Alexander Morales, Kali-Jean Burgos, and Denise Burgos-Paulino; 16 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters; 8 brothers; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.
A visitation will be held at the D’Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Ave., Lakewood, on Sunday from 7-9PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 11AM. Private cremation to follow. For more information, or to post a tribute online, please visit www.deliafuneralhome.com.
