Marie was born in Manhattan, NY, and raised in Lakewood, NJ. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose caring heart and fun-loving spirit left a lasting mark on everyone who knew her. She loved hosting parties and being surrounded by family and friends. Within her own family, she was the one who held everyone together—the dependable one, the caretaker, the heart of so many gatherings and memories.
She worked at Collectors Alliance for 14 years, and in that time, became so much more than a coworker—she became family. Marie was a dedicated, loyal, and hardworking employee who approached everything she did with pride and purpose. She was known for her motherly nature, always tidying up the kitchen, sharing her delicious food, and checking in on others with genuine care. But she was also the life of the party—fun, spirited, and quick to make people laugh. Her coworkers will never forget the way she made the workplace feel like home, or how she brought people together with her joy and kindness.
Marie is survived by her son, Hector Caraballo; her beloved grandchildren, Jayden, Kobey, Julianna, and Stefan Caraballo; her brothers, Ronald Bellavista and Edilberto Bellavista; and her sister, Barbara Bellavista. She was predeceased by her mother, Ramona Bellavista. Marie also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at D’Elia Funeral Home in Lakewood, NJ. A service celebrating Marie’s life will be led by Pastor Victor Martinez.
