May Irene Petruzziello

May Irene Petruzziello, age 89, of Lakewood NJ-Original Leisure Village section, passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at the Complete Care at Laurelton Village healthcare facility in Brick, NJ. May was born September 1, 1931 in Newark, NJ as the daughter of the late Samuel and Agnes Williams. May was a 32 year resident of Hazlet, NJ, prior to moving to Leisure Village in in 1986. She retired from her position as office manager from Kmart in Wall Township, NJ.

Beloved wife of the late David Petruzziello, she was the mother of the late Michael Petruzziello; and sister of the late Ruth Hock, Dorothy Zotti, and Raymond, Francis, and Ross Williams.

May is survived by her children, Tom Petruzziello, Dave Petruzziello and his wife Leah, and her daughter-in-law, Debbi Petruzziello; a brother, Robert Williams; a sister-in-law, Doris Williams; 4 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A visitation for May will be held Thursday, July 8, 2021 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at D'Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Ave., Lakewood, NJ 08701. Her funeral service will be conducted Friday, July 9, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home, with relatives and friends being received from 10 a.m. until the time of ceremony. A committal service will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery, 360 Broadway, Keyport, NJ 07735.
