Michael Alan Maltzman

Michael Alan Maltzman, 63, passed away November 13, 2011 at his home in Toms River. He was born in Brooklyn, NY. He lived in Hazlet for many years before settling in Toms River for the past 17 years. Mr. Maltzman was the Chief Financial Officer and President for Green Tech Assets and a Certified Public Accountant in both New Jersey and New York. He played an active part in the Laurel Common’s community as their treasurer for 13 years. Michael was an avid golfer, tennis player, loved to vacation and frequented Harrah’s Casino in Atlantic City. He was adored by everyone and will be greatly missed by all. Mr. Maltzman is predeceased by his parents, Nathan and Lila Maltzman, sister Beth Zomack, uncle Louie, aunt Anita, cousin Iris, and brother-in-law Eugene J. Miglio III. Michael is survived by his wife of 17 years Valerie, two children, Scott Maltzman and Rani Sullivan, three grandchildren, Alexis, Hayley, and Lucas, a niece, Jamie, a nephew, Danny, two sister-in-laws, Donna Burns and her husband Joel and their sons Spencer and Harrison and Barbara Miglio and her children Eugene and Anna, mother-in-law, Marcie Miglio, aunt and uncle, Albert Miglio and his wife Shani, a great niece and nephews and many other close family members. Friends may call Tuesday, November 15, 2011 from 9:30- 11am at the D’Elia Funeral Home Rt. 70 & Vermont Ave. Lakewood, NJ 08701. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at 11AM at the funeral home. Entombment will take place at Holmdel Cemetery in Holmdel.
