

Born in Harrison, she raised her family in Irvington and resided in Manchester before enjoying her last years in Old Bridge.
Prior to retiring, Olga worked for many years in the offices of the Ballantine Brewery in Newark. She was very proud of her place of employment and often took the opportunities to attend Broadway shows and dine at NYC restaurant with her coworkers. She was a very progressive woman and worked for most of her life.
Olga was a devout Catholic and attended Mass every Sunday. Most recently, she was a parishioner of St. John’s RC Church in Lakehurst.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of 46 years, Ted Dlugosz in 1991.
Surviving are her children: Theodore Michael Dlugosz and his wife Deborah, Marie Rao and her husband Richard, and Bernadette Mathews and her husband Casey; 5 grandchildren: Nicole Rao Barry and her husband Matthew, Damon Rao and his wife Katrine, Brent Mathews, Elizabeth Dlugosz, and Jennifer Dlugosz; a great-granddaughter, Sylvie J. Rao; a brother, Robert Makey and his wife Ethel; and many other extended family members. Olga was a very devoted wife and loving mother and will be truly missed.
A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Friday at 10AM at St. John’s RC Church, Lakehurst. Burial will immediately follow at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood.
