Richard Everett, 82, passed away February 6, 2015 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Mr. Everett was born and raised in Bronx, NY. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Richard worked for many years for the American Bank Note Company and more recently the Bureau of Engraving and Printing in Washington DC as an engraver. He was an avid calligraphist, golfer, chef and cleaning fanatic. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all. Mr. Everett is predeceased by his wife Joan in 2000. Richard is survived by his two sons, Richard Everett and Thomas Everett and his wife Andrea, seven grandchildren and his beloved companion, Jean Koles. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2015 from 4-8 pm at the D’Elia Funeral Home Rt. 70 & Vermont Ave. Lakewood, NJ 08701. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 13, 2015 at 10:30AM at the St. Mary of the Lake Church in Lakewood. Interment will take place at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery in Lakewood.
