Robert J. Nidds

Born in Flushing, NY he resided in Colonia, NJ before settling in Lakewood 19 years ago.

Robert was a graduate of Fordham University and worked as a Claims Adjuster for NJ Manufacturers in West Trenton. A US Army Veteran, he served from 1951-1954 and was stationed in Korea.

He was predeceased by his parents, Sabina & Joseph Nidds; and a sister and brother-in-law: Madeline & Daniel Hull.

Surviving is his devoted wife of 57 years, Terri; his loving children: Janice & Rich Passer, Gary & Heidi Nidds, and Cheryl & Chris Dickscheid; his siblings: Jack & Ellen Nidds, and Raymond & Mildred Nidds; and seven wonderful grandchildren: Cooper, Lachlan, Justin, Oliver, Violette, Colin & Ray; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-6PM at D’Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Avenue, Lakewood. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 10:30AM.
