Robert Michael Spagna

Robert Michael Spagna, age 71, of Manchester Township, New Jersey passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023. Robert was born in Elizabeth, NJ as the son of the late Stella Anastasia (Gluck) and Robert Paul Spagna. He retired from a career as a Mortgage Broker most recently with Santander Bank in NJ. He is survived by his Fiancé Cathy Petrucelli; his son, Adam Spagna; his sister, Lynda Campbell; his brother, David Spagna, 6 nieces and nephews, and 6 great nieces and nephews. Bob became interested in aviation in his early teens, an interest that persisted throughout his lifetime. He was a member of The Civil Air Patrol, an auxiliary of the Air Force, during which time he obtained his pilot’s license. He completed his education with a Fine Arts Degree and was an avid photographer and painter. As a teen/young adult he won several awards for his art. Bob was an animal lover and for decades could be found with a German Shepherd or Golden Retriever or two by his side. His cat companions were Boo and Mya. He enjoyed the warm weather, sand and shore, spending time in Aruba with his Fiancé Cathy whenever possible. Bob will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. His final arrangements were private.
