Rocco Anthony Summa, age 78, of Lakewood, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Suffern, NY. Rocco was born and raised in New York, NY. He was a former resident of Palisades Park, NJ and Huntington, Long Island, NY, before moving to Lakewood eight years ago. He served in the US Army. Rocco was a multi-talented professional artist. He was a baseball enthusiast who coached youth teams, and he was an avid fan of the NY Yankees. Husband of the late Dorothy Toni Summa and brother of the late Vincent Summa, he is survived by his two children, Nicholas Summa and his wife Kerri, and Terry Brennan and her husband Michael; a brother, John Summa and his wife Loretta; four grandchildren, Riley, Matthew, Meghan and Frankie; a sister-in-law, Michelle Summa; and several neices and nephews. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday at the D'Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Avenue, Lakewood, NJ 08701. His life will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday in the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
