Born on March 22, 1944, in New York, NY, Ronald graduated from high school in NY before answering the call to serve his nation. He enlisted in the United States Navy and achieved the rank of PR3. During his service, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal—a testament to his commitment and honor. Following his military service, Ronald began a long career with Ford Motor Company. Known for his work ethic and reliability, he remained with the company until his retirement.
Ronald perceived his greatest accomplishment to be the life he built with his wife and children, to whom he was devoted. Before her passing, he shared 52 loving years of marriage with MaryJane, the love of his life, and was truly her protector. Together they raised their three children: Patrick, William, and Terri. He was a family man who was selfless, dedicated, loyal, and loving. Ronald found peace in fishing and hunting. These pastimes brought him joy throughout the years—but nothing compared to watching his grandchildren grow up. Ronald was a proud grandfather to Avery and Jessica—his pride in them knew no bounds. He cherished every moment spent with them and never missed an opportunity to express how deeply he loved them. To them he was affectionately known as “Poppy” or “Pops,” titles he wore with joy and pride.
He is survived by his children: Patrick Justice and his wife Suzanne, William Justice, and Terri Dolfel and her husband Brian; his grandson Avery, his granddaughter Jessica, and Patrick’s stepdaughter Lindsay. He is also survived by his sister Karen Dresch, and many nieces and nephews.
Ronald was preceded in death by his beloved wife, MaryJane Justice; his parents, Luther Justice and Olga Alfano; and his brother, Louis Alfano.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 1 from 1:00pm - 4:00pm, with a funeral service at 3:30pm at D'Elia Funeral Home, Lakewood. Family and friends are welcome to gather back at the funeral home on Monday from 10:30am-11:30am before the burial. Burial with military honors will take place at 1:00pm at NJ Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown.
