Rosemarie LaVacca

Rosemarie was the cherished daughter of the late Angelina and John Sorce. and sister of the late Michael Sorce.

She was the devoted mother of Denise Smith (Tim Smith) and Michael LaVacca (Tracy LaVacca). Dear sister of Alice Headrick (Bob Headrick) and dear sister-in-law of Alison Sorce. Loving Grandmother of 6 grandchildren, Erik Smith, Brandon Smith, Alyssa LaVacca, Megan LaVacca, Kimberly LaVacca and Michael LaVacca.

Rosemarie was born in Glen Ridge, resided in Bloomfield, NJ for 65 years before retiring as a secretary from Galsan and Associates and moving to Lakewood, NJ in 2002. She enjoyed doing puzzles, reading and watching Hallmark movies.

She devoted most of her time to caring for Buddy and enjoying her grandchildren.

A service will be held on Thursday, July 14th at 11:00am at Ocean County Memorial Park, 1722 Silverton Rd, Toms River, NJ 08753. For those attending please note the service will be held in the chapel in building 19/20.

Memorial contributions in Rosemarie's memory can be made to St. Jude’s Childrens’ Hospital.
