Ruth K. Muller

Ruth K. Muller, age 87, of Jackson, NJ and Sarasota, FL, passed away on Monday, May 31, 2021 at the Ocean Medical Center in Brick, NJ. Ruth was born August 4, 1933 in North Bergen, NJ as the daughter of Florence McPeek and Stephen Micjenka. Ruth was raised in North Bergen by her mother and step-father Harold Fay. She spent many summers with her family on Long Beach Island since 1962. She and her husband began spliting their time between Jackson and Sarasota 17 years ago.

Ruth was a multi-talented entertainer. She loved to write, sing and perform in addition to being a reading enthusiast. She performed at the Venice Little Theater with the Silver Foxes in Venice, FL. Ruth retired from her Executive Assistant position with AT&T in 1998.

Ruth is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, Richard E. Muller; their four children, Cheryl A. Klein and her husband Keith, Richard D. Muller, Joyce M. Coughlin, and Barbara L. Cruickshank and her husband David; a son-in-law, Vincent Coughlin; and seven grandchildren, Nicole and her husband Brian, Sean and his wife Laurel, Danielle, Kimberly, Andrew, Katriel, and Kayanna.

Her memorial service will be conducted at the BG William C. Doyle New Jersey Veterans Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562 on Wednesday, June 9, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. Those attending should arrive at the cemetery's welcome center by 1:15 p.m.
