Sheila E. Gaspari

Sheila E. Gaspari, age 72, of Lakewood, passed away Friday at Kimball Medical Center in Lakewood, NJ.Born in St. Andrews, New Brunswick, Canada, Sheila moved to New York City to practice medicine as an RN at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. She received a BS from Georgian Court University and has been a Lakewood resident since 1973. Sheila was formerly employed by the Kimball Medical Center in Lakewood, having served as RN & Head Nurse, before retiring as the Head of Case Management in 2001 after 28 years of service. She was a voracious reader. Predeceased by five of her siblings, Mrs. Gaspari is survived by her beloved husband of 42 years, Louis; 3 children & their spouses, Gregory L. & Regina Gaspari of Robbinsville, NJ, Susan H. & Stephen Adams of Lacey, NJ, & Paul V. & Maria Gaspari of Franklin Park, NJ, 2 sisters, Ruth Corbett & Elaine Lewis both of St. Andrews, New Brunswick, Canada; & 5 grandchildren, Stephanie, Amanda, Michael, Kevin, & Christine; & several nieces, nephews, other relatives, & many, many friends.

Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. & 7 to 9 p.m. at the D’Elia Funeral Home, Hwy 70 & Vermont Ave., Lakewood, NJ.

Her funeral mass will be 10 a.m. Monday day in the Church of the Visitation, 730 Lynnwood Ave, Brick, NJ .

Cremation will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fox Chase Cancer Center, 333 Cottman Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19111-2497.
