A. C. "Chappie" Ulrich Jr.

A.C. Ulrich Jr. was born September 5, 1950 in Galveston, Texas to the union of A. C. Ulrich Sr. and Ella Fields Ulrich. “Chappie” as he was fondly know by family and friends, was educated in the public schools of La Marque, Texas. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School.  After graduation, he enlisted in the U. S. Army and served his tour of duty until his honorable discharge. At an early age, he was baptized at Rising Star Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor D. N. Benford Sr. He was a loving and giving person and will be greatly missed by his loved ones. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ella Fields Ulrich and A. C. Ulrich Sr.; siblings, Larry Ulrich Sr. and Harold Fields Sr.; and niece, Tonya Matthews White. On Tuesday, April 5, 2016 God called His son home.  He leaves to cherish his memory, his sister, Gwendolyn Ulrich Matthews; nieces and nephews,  Gail Roberts, Chanda Walker, Charles Matthews Jr., Harold Fields, Jr., Davidra Sanja (Cyrus) and Larry Ulrich Jr.; great-nieces and nephews, Matthew White, Chayla Walker, Kaila Sajna, Maxwell Sajna, Ethan Sajna and Nathaniel Sajna; a host of cousins, family members and friends.
