Alice Faye Woolridge

of Texas City, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 in Houston, Texas.

A memorial service will be held Friday, February 12, 2021 at Mainland Funeral Home with the Reverend William Randle of Greater Saint Matthews, officiating. Upon her wishes, she will be cremated.

Alice was born in Whiteville, Louisiana to Ida Woolridge on February 10, 1946. She went to grade school in Texas City and then continued her education in Marrows, Louisiana. She worked as a housekeeper for many years and for many families in the Texas City area. However, she worked for the Matthews family for 35+ years.

Alice is preceded in death by her mother, 3 aunts and 5 uncles and

is survived by her only child Patrice(Ladon) Williams and 2 grandchildren Reileigh and Reese Williams. In addition to 3 Sisters Geraldine Peters, Diane Young and Faye Thompson and 4 brothers Willie Nichols, Gerry Green, Larry Young ,Ray Young and Betty Jones a friend for more than 50 years.
