

Andrew Lewis Hobbs was born December 6, 1950 in Galveston, Texas to Jourman R. Hobbs and Retha Hobbs King. Andrew professed his faith and the Love of Jesus Christ at an early age. He attended Dunbar High School in Dickinson, Texas and Clear Creek High School in League City, Texas. Andrew loved the outdoors (fishing, boating & hunting) and love being around family & friends. He was blessed with exceptional skills in which he learned from his Dad. He had such a helpful spirit and you will often find him repairing things around the house. In the early mornings, you will also find him mowing the lawn on the family acres of land. Andrew worked construction many years in the Galveston and Harris County areas. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Retha Hobbs King. He leaves to cherish his memories: His Dad: Jourman R. Hobbs. His Son: Sidney Hobbs of Dickinson, Texas and His Daughter: Julie Abraham (Tod) of Harligen, Texas. One brother: Jimmie Hobbs(Pastor Elizabeth) Three Sisters: Sandra Williams of Katy, Texas; Ruthie Coaxum(Pastor Richard) of Pflugerville, Texas and Elaine Harvey(Rodney) of Houston, Texas. A host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. A special thank you to Andrew dear friends for their love and support: Paul Slater and Robert Moore. Andrew touched many lives and he will be greatly missed.
