Brenda Joyce Rich

Brenda Joyce Rich was born August 14, 1956 in Lufkin, Texas. She was the daughter of Rosie Roberson Rich and Jessie Rich Sr. She attended public school in La Marque and later moved to Dickinson, Texas. She moved to California where she spent most of her adult life. She was employed at Big Three Industries in Clear Lake working with computers. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. On November 23, 2016 she passed from this earthly life at her home. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Rich, Sr. and Rosie L. Rich; brothers, Jessie, Jr., Willie J., Andre L., Steven D. and Vernell Rich; a niece, Julisa Rich; and a nephew, Richard Rich. She survived by her son, Marcus Lavar Barnett Sr.; grandson, Marcus Lavae Barnett Jr.; great-grandson, Bryce Barnett; her sisters and brother, Helen M. Udeobong, Rosie J. Rich Hobbs and Richard L. Rich; her aunts and uncles, Margaret Woodson, Betty Armstrong (John), Hazel Roberson Roundtree Davis, Sampson Roberson (Mary), James Roberson and Billy Roberson; devoted nieces, Felicia Rich and Alicia Rich; devoted nephews, Gerald Rich and Sidney Hobbs; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
