Cora Lee Jarmon

Mrs. Cora Lee Jarmon was born December 10, 1933 in New Iberia, Louisiana to Joseph Watson, Sr. and Adaline Armstrong Watson. She was educated in the public schools of Jennings, Louisiana and was a graduate of Jennings High School. She met and married the love of her life, Mr. Tom Jarmon, Jr. on January 21, 1971 in Angleton, Brazoria County, Texas. To this union, one son was born. After moving to Texas City, the family united with Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor D. N. Benford, Sr. Mrs. Jarmon, a quiet and humble spirit, departed this earthly life on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Mainland Medical Center in Texas City. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Sr. and Adaline Watson; her husband, Tom Jarmon, Jr. and brother, Lawless Watson. Left to cherish memories of her life are her loving and devoted son, Rodd Jarmon; a brother, Joseph Watson, Jr.; and a host of friends, neighbors, church members and family members.
