Essie Mae Roberts, 90, of Dallas, Texas passed away on December 23, 2014. She is preceded in death by two sons, Gene Fuller, Jr. and Lionel Roberts, four brothers and two sisters. Ms. Roberts leaves to cherish memories of her life, a daughter, Essie Jean Henderson (Walter Sr.); son, A. J. Standberry; two brothers, Willie R. and Charles "C.L." Roberts; two sisters, Nola Mae Morris and Dorothy Hennigan; many relatives and friends. A Celebration of Ms. Roberts life will be Friday, January 2, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Mainland Funeral Home in La Marque.
