Joe Boone Herndon Sr.

Joe Boone Herndon, Sr. was born June 16, 1944 in Huntsville, Texas. He was born to the union of Fred and Willie Mae Boone Herndon. Joe was a long time resident of Texas City. He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served during the Korean Era. He was a Mechanic by trade and worked in La Marque for a number of years. On February 15, 2013, Joe went home to be with the Lord. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Fred and Willie Mae Herndon; sisters, Mary Herndon and Dorothy Sue Solomon; and brothers, Fred Herndon, Jr. and Christopher C. "C.C." Herndon. He is survived by his children, Latasha Herndon, Joe Boone Herndon, Jr., Clayton Raynard Herndon and Tiffany Yvette Glover; a sister, Lou Dell Henderson; grandchildren, McKenzie St. Julian, Cameron Javari Herndon, Asha Leif Woods, Raylaon Herndon, Shania Herndon, Ranny Glover, Travis Glover, Spintoria Glover, Bianka Glover; and a host of nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
