

Remembering Pee Wee. On March 18,1969 in Houston, Texas God blessed Lewis C. Jones, Sr. and Willie Mae Daniels with a son whom they named Lewis Charles Jones, Jr. To family and friends, we was know as "Pee Wee" Many knew Lewis to be a very soft spoken kind hearted person who loved his family and friends unconditionally and never met a stranger. He loved fishing and being out on the water. Lewis attended La Marque public schools and graduated in 1988 from La Marque High School where he played football and was a linebacker for the La Marque Cougars. After graduating from high school, Lewis was employed with Twin Oaks day care where he worked for many years. After leaving the day care, he decided to go and get his A/C Certification. Upon completing and receiving his certification, he went on working at various apartment complexes as an A/C Technician. Lewis was a member of Rising Star Baptist Church in Texas City. On June 27, 1992, he was united in marriage to the love of his life and high school sweetheart, Trina Marie White. On March 6, 2014 Pee Wee made his transition from life to eternity, though it was unexpected to those who loved and knew him, it was in God's perfect Will. Lewis is preceded in death by his grandfather, Willie Daniels, Sr.; father, Lewis C. Jones, Sr.; wife, Trina M. Jones; uncle, Clinton L. Daniels; and his beloved pets, Trinity, Felony and Lil Man. Left to cherish memoires of his life are his son, J. J. Mullins (Lindsey); his mother, Willie Mae Daniels; grandmother, Ethel Mae Daniels; his siblings, Ollie (Shenetra) Jones, Terry Jones, Kerry Griffin, Donald W. Daniels and Elecia Jackson and LaShunda (Lonnie) Griggs; three uncles, James C. Daniels, Roy L. Daniels, Rickey J. Daniels; one aunt, Doretha Lynch; a special friend, Lawanda Goss; his nieces and nephews and a host of family members and friends.
