God Knew On a beautiful day in Dallas, Texas on May 15, 1948 a happy and handsome baby boy would enter the earth in the parking lot of Parkland Memorial Hospital and be presented to his parents Dorothy Mae Moreland and Archie Lee Moreland. They named him Louis Delon Moreland known as "Brother" by many of his family and friends. From an early age he was told by his Grand Mother (Lula Blair) that he was a very good boy and he would always take care of his Mother and would one day live in Houston. Growing up with his one sister Lula Blair Westbrook they both attended Joseph J. Rhoads Elementary School and later Lincoln High School in Dallas, TX. While attending high school he met his high school sweetheart Doris Wright. Although this was to be a blind date, Louis convinced his friend (Joe) to help him see what she looked like ahead of time. When his friend Joe walked her home from school Louis drove by to see her. Well, he must have liked what he saw because on December 19, 1966 Louis and Doris united as one. Before joining the United Sates Army of which he served 3 years as a medic Louis took on his grandfather's Sir Name of Blair. It was during this time he earned the Vietnamese Gallantry cross with palm along with the following metals: the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Purple Heart. He also found time to attend and complete his studies at Skyline Technical Institute. Louis worked for Sterling Chemical as a Pipefitter Engineer for many years before retiring. In 1967 Doris gave birth to Louis' most treasured possession, Debbie LaShonn Blair, his female twin. In the mid 70's, Louis moved his family to Houston just as his grandmother predicted. In 1988 Debbie gave birth to Carlos Rogelio Morgan Jr. (CJ). Louis was overly excited he finally had a male in his life. His grandson over the years has made him the proudest "Grandpa" ever. Over the course of his life, Louis has impacted and touched the lives of many people who are made richer for it. God Knew On Friday, May 29, 2015 he would call home one of His faithful servants. He leaves to cherish his memories: (daughter) Debbie Blair, (grandson) Carlos Morgan Jr., (mother) Dorothy Blair, (sister) Lula Westbrook, (former spouse) Doris Milliner, (nieces) Anchesionique (Chez) Brunner, Aaril (Chrys) Westbrook, LaAnzhanelte (Angie) Redrick (Joseph), (nephew) Xiannon Westbrook (Shevonia), (cousins) Doris Lewis, Betty Jones (Larry), Josephine Hodge, and Evelyn Kimbrew (Matthew).
