Marilyn Mathis Cummins, a resident of Galveston, was born August 19, 1941 in West Memphis, Arkansas to William Edwin Mathis and Claire Bell Cantrell Mathis. Marilyn was self-employed as Tailor in Galveston, and a spiritual peer. Preceded in death by her son, Paul Edward Cummins, Jr., she is survived by her children, Jessie Denton, Beth Bradshaw, Clara Morgan, Betty Terry and Martin Cummins; grandsons, Thomas Bradshaw, J. R. Cozad, Clinton Curtis, Tommy Denton, Caleb Denton; granddaughters, Jamie Cummins, Allison Morgan, Kali Rose Cummins, Gracie Morgan, Teresa Te'o, Emma Boyum and April Chidester; great-grandchildren, Rhody Mewes and Harlie Jolynn Mewes. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother and will forever live in our hearts...
