Rosa Baez

Mrs. Rosa Lydia Torres Baez passed into eternal life on May 30, 2012 at her home with her beloved family by her side. She was born March 17, 1941 in Yauco. Puerto Rico to Domingo Torres Aguilo and Zoa Torres. A resident of Texas City for 30 years, she was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, mother-in-law and friend. Cherished Memories will forever linger in the hearts of her beloved family: husband, Francisco Baez; children, Frank Baez and wife, Lorna Baez, Sandra Castro and husband, Ramon Castro and Lillian Larranaga and husband Jorge; her beloved grandchildren, Zoa Castro McKinney, Danilo Castro, Lornita Baez, Gabriella Baez and Alex Larranaga; niece, Wanda Rivera and husband, Luigi Rivera and their children, Luigi G. Rivera and Natalie Rivera. The family wishes to give special thanks to Eulalia Lazo and Ezequiel Jimenez and the Hospice Care Team Staff. Family and friends will gather to celebrate Rosa's life on Sunday, June 3, 2012 at the Mainland Funeral Home Chapel in La Marque beginning at 2:30 PM. A Service of Remembrance will begin at 4:00 PM.
