Mrs. Beth Allison Swick, daughter of the late James R. Drake and Betty Elizabeth Drake was born June 1st, 1962 at Licking Memorial Hospital in Newark, Ohio. She attended Newark City schools and attended Newark High School. She loved and cared deeply about others throughout her lifetime as a working caretaker and for all of her children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She passed away peacefully on January 1st, 2024.
She is survived by her beloved husband John William Swick Jr., her children James E. Moore (eldest son), Joshua Lee Moore (son), John (Kyle) Swick (son), Cassie Elizabeth Swick (daughter), Jordan Ross Moore (son), her sister Darla Moore, her brother-in-law James (Jim) Moore, her granddaughter Kirsten (Kam) Ann Marie Moore, and many other grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her eldest sister Sue Drake, and her other sister, Carolyn Menchofer.
A visitation for Beth will be held Friday, January 5, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home & Memorials, 436 N Broad St, Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
