
Edna May Hoch, 90, of Lancaster, passed away on Friday, November 3rd, 2023 at the Fairfield Medical Center. Edna was born in Queens, New York on November 10th, 1932 to the late William and Alice Hardick. She was very active in the First United Methodist Church in Lancaster, serving in the Banner Ministry and the Women’s Group. Edna also served as a Poll Worker for many years at the Board of Elections in Lancaster. Most of all, Edna was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Edna is survived by her son, William (Amy) Hoch; daughter, Linda Kraatz; son, Eric (Barbara) Hoch; grandchildren, Andrea (Eddie) McDonie, Nathan (Hannah) Hoch, Allyson (David) Petry, Justin Hoch, and Benjamin Kraatz; great-grandchildren, William, Charles, and Wallace McDonie, Adalynn, Lydia, Ella, James, and Theodore Hoch, and Linden Petry.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Kenneth Hoch; her parents, and her sister, Alice Fielding.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday November 25th, 2023 at 11:30AM at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Dan Crawford officiating. Friends and family may visit ONE HOUR PRIOR to the services at the FUNERAL HOME. Dignity Cremation is to take place through the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME.
