Helen Martin, 94 of Lancaster passed away on Tuesday, September 11th, 2018 at her residence. Helen was a member of the Saint Mary of the Assumption Church. She had retired from North American in Columbus, Ohio and the Lancaster Fairfield Hospital.
Helen is survived by her two daughters, Connie (Phil) Saunders, and Sandra (Harry) Hiles; grandchildren, Robert H. (Angela) Shick, Travis (Jenny) Shick, and Tammy (Mark) Hunt; great-grandchildren, Katie Shick, Zach Shick, Courtney Shick, Eddie Shick, and Nicole Hunt; as well as special friends, Eileen Schneider and Kathy Kiger.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; father and mother, Mike and Anna Hubal; her two sisters and four brothers; grandchild, Richard Schofield; and great-grandchild, Bobby Shick.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 15th, 2018 at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME at 11AM with Fr. Craig R. Eilerman as officiant. Friends and family may visit from 10AM until the time of the service. Burial is to take place at a later date at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at FairHoPe Hispice, as well as the staff at Crestview, Dr. Rice and Dr. Buckley for their loving care of mom.
