James R. Hedges, 85, of Lancaster, Ohio passed away on Friday, January 24,2025. He was born December 20, 1939 in Lancaster, Ohio to the late Roxy and Mauddelle (Dillon) Hedges. He graduated from Lancaster High School in 1958. He is survived by his daughter, Jill (Ben Daubmire) Hedges, sons, Kile Hedges and Kurt (Beth) Hedges, all of Lancaster; granddaughters, Addie, Emma and Avery Hedges. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Karen A. Hedges; brother, Jeffery L. Hedges.
A Memorial Service will be held 12 noon on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Calvary Lutheran Church, 508 North Broad St, Lancaster. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. The family would like to thank Altercare Lanfair for the care and support Jim received during his stay. The family is being served by the Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home.
