

He was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina on October 29th, 1944 to Edward and Elizabeth (Larason) Babbitt. Jeff faithfully served in the Ohio Air National Guard for 13 years. Additionally, he was a retired CPA who partnered in ministry with Denyce in support of prison missions, Wycliffe Bible Translators, and numerous other evangelistic ministries. Jeff's passion for Christ and family were his hallmark.
He passed away peacefully from complications due to ALS. Jeff is survived by his wife Denyce (Fuller) Babbitt, daughter Lara (Chris) Wright of Bremen and son Scott (Heidi) Babbitt of Bonaire, Georgia; twin sisters, Jane (Al) Iverson of West Chester and Julie Hamers of Covington, Louisiana; brother Bruce (Carol) Babbitt of Lancaster; grandchildren, Kayla Wright, Andrew and Matthew Babbitt; caregiver Wade. Jeff is also survived by 7 nieces and nephews.
A memorial services will be held 4:00 p.m. Friday April 3, 2015 at Fairfield Christian Church.
Friends may call 3 to 4 p.m. Friday at the church.
