Jennifer Rager

Jennifer Lynn (Varney) Rager (48) of Pleasantville, Ohio, passed away at the Pickering House on December 25th 2018 surrounded by family. Jennifer was born August 11th 1970 to Nancy Whittington and John Abahazie in Franklin County, Ohio. Jennifer enjoyed crocheting, making fairy gardens, and spending time with her family and friends. Jennifer is survived by her loving husband, Tom of 23 years, her two sons, Dalton (22) and Hayden (12). Her mother Nancy Whittington, her sisters, Sarah (Doug) Varney Henderson & Amanda Varney Boykins. Jennifer also had 6 step brothers and sisters, Annette, Mike, Stacy, Ronda, Kent, & Trent.

Jennifer had many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, along with great nieces and nephews. Virginia Olney, Frank (Helen) Leo, Vickie “Cookie” (Jeff) Beekman, and Judy Grigsby. Rachel Henderson (Rylan, Beckett, Ean, Emalyn) Tyler (Samantha) Henderson, Hanna Varney (Ava, Olivia) and Spencer Varney. Also, her best friend, Jamie Ashton.

Jennifer is proceeded in death by her step father, Ronald E. Whittington and her grandparents, Ralph & Hannabell Leo.

She will be laid to rest at West Rushville Cemetary.

Jennifer’s family would like to thank the Ross Heart Center and the Pickering House for their kindness and support during this time.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 5th, 2018 at 11AM at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME. Burial is to follow at West Rushville Cemetery. Friends and family may visit on Friday from 5PM-8PM, as well as ONE HOUR PRIOR to the services on Saturday.
