Jim B. Underwood

Jim B. Underwood, 71, left to be with his Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ on Sunday, March 2, 2025. He was at home with his family at the time of passing. He is survived by his wife, Diane; his 2 children Dustin and Megan; and 1 granddaughter, Rosyln.

Jim came from a large family, 13 kids in total, born to Harold Leroy Underwood and Evelyn Pearl Moore both deceased. He enjoyed reminiscing about his childhood and the mischievous exploits that he and his siblings would get up to in Carroll, Ohio. He preceded in death by his 4 siblings, Marilyn Rager, Phyllis Morgan, Bill Underwood and Diane Roby. The remaining surviving 8 siblings, Harold (Nellie) Underwood, Sondra (Ted) Price, Sharon (Carl) Mathias, Robert (Mary) Underwood, Peggy Nicolia, Pam (Dave) Hall, Steven (Kathy) Underwood and Randy Underwood will have to continue sharing the exploits of the Underwood family.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Monday March 10, 2025 at the Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Underwood officiating. Burial will follow at Carroll Cemetery. Friends may call Monday 11 to 12 p.m. at the funeral home.
