I'm sorry I could not make it to the funeral I got the times mixed up but I want to leave my love and prayers for his daughter and family john was my great uncle and was amazing. I dont have many memories as an adult but I always remember how much he reminded me of my grandpa. Quiet but loving. Seems hard to believe that most of my family is gone. . Love you uncle john. I wish I had more time to spend with you growing up.

There are so many words to choose from, but the only words that come to mind are:

Mr. Dersam and our family grew as one way before my brother married his daughter Brenda.

His love flowed not just to Brenda, Florea, Bonnie, but reached their husbands Marcelino, Raj and Bud.

Whenever you think of his daughters you think of Mr. Dersam.

Thank you Mr. Dersam for your service as well as sharing your home with us. For the stories you'd share all the way up to present stories.

I remember when you resided in the white house when you lived in Waukegan. I shall treasure the memories always.

Now you can rest and be reunited with Mrs. Dersam, Florea and Bonnie as well as your parents, brothers and sisters.

REST IN PARADISE Mr. Dersam until we are all reunited again

Will always think of you and remember you always.
